Here is an old post from my other site that I decided to post on here since I haven't written anything new for awhille now. Enjoy.
SuperBowl XtraLarge

I guess America just wasn’t ready to let the old, dried up go ahead and die and make way for a new era. The half time show was a tribute to that. We should build a shrine to Mick Jagger and Jerome Bettis. We could build it 100’ tall and put it in a retirement home courtyard down in Florida. This is America. We can do anything. We can choose to go to the moon – We can choose to change regimes and topple dictators – We can choose who wins the Superbowl. It is now certain that the city of Seattle will never win a championship of any kind as long as they’re not acknowledged by the rest of the country as a legitimate sports city.

Just look at any study done on the human psyche and you’ll see. Humans don’t like change or things that are different. We get comfortable with comfort. Why would we want to screw that up. And so life goes on today and tomorrow, just as it has since 9/11. That was the last time we accepted a change. But a burning football game doesn’t come close to a burning building so yesterday does not equate to a change. Just don’t look forward to any surprises in the year to come. In fact – Don’t look forward at all.
